This collection of short science fiction and fantasy works gives you five tales in different worlds created by indie writer Stuart J. Whitmore. It includes three short stories and two novellas, with a total of more than 60,000 words (about equal to a short novel). The tales included in this sampler are: Tea Leaf Technology (Science Fiction) - a short story about a galactic con job in a tea cup. The Vengeance of Mirickar (Fantasy) - a novella about a farm boy who is driven to take up a sword to avenge his parents. Wolf Block (Science Fiction) - a short story / novelette about a rich young woman who gets more than she bargained for when she obeys her government's call to service. The Prophesied Awakening (Fantasy) - a short story about a young woman who survives a sacrificial rite. KINRU (Science Fiction/Psychological Thriller) - a novella about three men in a high-tech society who have a strange and surprising connection to each other.
