I read the manga for Nippon Sangoku, after finishing the anime, and it's wild that they covered 4 volumes in 12 episodes but it felt SO well paced.
I would say that the season's ending was even better than how it was done in the manga. I hope it gets a season 2.
Nippon Sangoku is the most old-man yaoi show ever, I love it 😭 (Ryumon/Kaku is so real I swear)
Aoteru is the main character but he barely shows up lol. It all feels like a prologue so far.
Nippon Sangoku is definitely the most underrated anime this season, both the animation and the storyline are awesome.
I get really strong Golden Kamuy vibes from it as well, and its got a wicked sense of humor for a military/politics focused show.
