I've never used git properly before (was always just using the web UI on GitHub) and omg some of the options in VScode are so confusing...

I thought I had lost all my work, but it switched to main instead of staying on the branch I was working on???

Luckily I didn't actually lose anything.

I'm working locally now so I can test my astro projects instead of wasting build minutes on Netlify lol. I appreciate that the extension calls out errors right away.
