@vsitante yeah moving to mastodon/fediverse is the best thing that's ever happened for my mental health.

I'm still informed about the news and stuff because I choose to seek it out when I'm ready, not just having the world's slop shoved right at me.

I feel like they're going through the shit-cycle faster now with bluesky, without learning anything 😮‍💨

I understand that there were some difficulties adopting mastodon, but tossing it for bluesky makes me realize that people can be so unserious.

@navi The moment I realized that people were lying to themselves or were unserious was when privacy nuts picked Bsky over Mastodon because Mastodon had "serious" issues like the moderation angle or having to contend with every law due to how instances work.

The dreamwidth founder picked Bsky over some specific law things, which is hilarious considering everything that's happened since. She made a thread about it in Twitter, IDK if I can find it.

But also, a lot of these people picked Bsky because YAY NUMBERS and shiny toy, let's be real. That's all it always was, and people pretending it wasn't make me laugh.
