Welp I finished off volume 10. Makes sense that I don't have much to post about since it's all about the fight between Tommyrod and Toriko.

Teppei coming in clutch at the end was great though!

Dang was this the arc Toriko lost his arm? I was pretty sure that happened much later!

Tommyrod's bug attacks are gross but his attitude is even worse (can't believe he killed that poor wall penguin chick's parents), can't wait for Toriko to beat him up

Also Match and Takimaru sleeping RIGHT next to each other 👀

Even Match knows to call out Toriko's BS.

I'm just collecting every moment that makes me go doki doki at this point. ToriKoma is so real 😭

I've shared this before, but one of the things i really like about Toriko is that Komatsu isn't expected to be as strong as the other characters. They try to make up for each other's faults, and protect each other using what they each do best. It's one of my fav tropes.

Woohoo done with volume 8!

We've basically started the Century Soup arc, and from what I remember Komatsu plays a pretty big role in this one.

Onto volume 9!

there's no way Komatsu forgot how popular Toriko is, he's his number 1 fanboy!

i love how easy this series makes shipping. they setup the idea that gourmet hunters and chefs are 'partners' in more ways than one themselves!

It's sweet that Toriko is paying since Komatsu doesn't have the money to pay for all these fancy meals.... Plus Komatsu's appetite is basically a rounding error on Toriko's bill anyways

Starting volume 8 now, this fight between the Gourmet Corps guy and Toriko was pretty forgettable. He honestly kind of reminds me of a fishman from One Piece.

Komatsu running into Coco's arms is really cute but it's even cuter that Coco will crouch down to hug him. Komatsu is so affectionate and its really sweet to see the Kings return it
